Pennsylvania has made headlines in the national news in recent weeks.   The Commonwealth’s capitol city, Harrisburg, faces a state takeover in the wake of its filing for bankruptcy protection last week.  In the legislature, debate continues over Republican proposals to scrap the state’s winner take all distribution of Electoral College votes and to require voter IDs at polls.  Governor Corbett released his educational plan which includes tax-payer funded tuition vouchers and an overhaul of the way teachers are paid, evaluated and hired.  We’ll talk about the politics behind the headlines with JOHN BAER, political columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News and LAURA OLSON, Harrisburg reporter for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
