Optimism in the Auto Industry, then Egypt

Hour 1

The Philadelphia Auto Show started this weekend and all the newest cars are on display.  It’s a lot flashier than last years show as things seem to be looking up for automakers.  This hour, we thought we’d check-in on the auto industry to see how it’s doing.  We’ll also get some reviews of the latest models and hear about the newest auto trends.  First, Pulitzer Prize-winning automotive journalist PAUL INGRASSIA will give us an update on the auto industry and explain what’s behind all the optimism in Detroit.  Then, Wall Street Journal automotive critic DAN NEIL will highlight some of the hottest cars coming off the line.   Then we’ll switch gears to get an update on the uprising in Egypt with TAMIR MOUSTAFA, associate professor of International Studies at Simon Fraser University.
