Mueller’s big week
Listen 49:39Guests: Quinta Jurecic, Andrew Prokop, David Corn
It’s a busy week for the Mueller investigation. On Tuesday, the special counsel filed documents outlining Michael Flynn’s substantial cooperation in the government inquiry and may get no or limited jail time because of his significant assistance. This could be a worrying sign for others in the investigation crosshairs. And on Friday, we’re expecting more prosecutor filings – one laying out Paul Manafort’s plea deal violations and another detailing the extent of Michael Cohen’s cooperation. This hour, we’ll dive into the special counsel investigation, discuss where it appears to be headed, who else may be implicated, and for what crimes. We’re joined by QUINTA JURECIC, managing editor for LawFare, ANDREW PROKOP, senior correspondent at Vox, and DAVID CORN, Washington bureau chief for Mother Jones.
