Michael Waldman’s “The Second Amendment: A Biography”

Listen

Guest: Michael Waldman

[From the Radio Times archive] In his new book The Second Amendment: A Biography, author MICHAEL WALDMAN explores the history of the Second Amendment and how its meaning has changed over time. There was very little debate back in the late 18th century when James Madison introduced and Congress passed the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. Today it’s the most divisive of all the amendments and gets re-argued every time there’s a new shooting or a new court ruling. In this hour of Radio Times, Waldman will discuss the original intent of the Second Amendment and how it has been reinterpreted in recent years. Marty spoke with him last June.
