In this hour we’ll take a look at the ongoing debate over proposed state medical marijuana legislation, and the latest research on what marijuana does to our bodies. Then, we’ll turn to science. Guest host Mary Cummings-Jordan will sit down with TERESA FRANKLIN, a Research Associate Professor of Neuroscience in Psychiatry at the Center for the Studies of Addiction at the University of Pennsylvania, to discuss new research on marijuana addiction and how the drug impacts young brains. And Yale University School of Medicine professor JOEL GELERNTER will tell us about his new research on marijuana addiction.
