Guest: Diana Nyad

In 2013 at the age of 64, DIANA NYAD swam 110 miles from Cuba to Florida, becoming the first person to complete it without the aid of a shark cage. This was her fifth attempt at the challenge. She swam for fifty-three hours, fighting powerful currents, nausea, dehydration, and toxic jellyfish. Nyad, who is also a journalist, recounts her historic swim and how events in her life shaped her competitive drive and her obsession in a new memoir, Find a Way. She comes in today to talk with Marty about it.
