For parents with kids involved in sports, spring and summer schedules are overflowing with and dictated by Little League, soccer and lacrosse games and swim meets — but could all this focus on athletics detrimental to the health and well being of boys and girls?  Sportswriter MARK HYMAN, author of Until It Hurts says that kids’ sports have changed in ways that are less than positive.  Children are entering and specializing in sports earlier and putting them at risk for more injuries and burnout and stress later in their athletic lives.   Add parental pressure and the situation gets even more complicated.  In this hour of Radio Times  — in the words of our guest Mark Hyman — America’s Obsession with Youth Sports and How It Harms Our Kids.
