The car of the future
The race is on to find the car of the future. Just what form it will take and how we’ll adjust to the highway of tomorrow are still the big questions. While the technology of self-driving cars gets most of the attention, in this week’s First Look we look at the tech being added to Delaware’s road infrastructure.

Guitar Man
Sometimes a gift is far more than a present, especially when it’s from family. Jim Bennett has struggled to regain his passion for playing the guitar since suffering a stroke six years ago. But a creation in a high school wood-shop has made all the difference.

First Person: Ken Simpler
There’s a big effort to overhaul the way Delaware budgets its money, the bipartisan proposal hopes to reduce that drastic seesaw from budget shortfall one year, to windfall the next year. We sat down with State Treasurer Ken Simpler to learn more about the proposed amendment to Delaware’s constitution.

Each one, Teach one
Consistency is extremely important for students at one Wilmington school. And there’s a mentoring program aimed at providing just that at Bancroft Elementary School.

First Experience: Trace
Carlos Alejandro is both a commercial and a fine art photographer. The Mezzanine Gallery in downtown Wilmington has an exhibit of his work called Trace. It features Carlos’s fine art photography and covers the people, places and stories that make up our world. It’s our First Experience this week.
