A Forever Family
A stable family can create a healthy foundation to help kids reach their full potential, but finding that stability can be difficult for children in foster care. Our First Look this week explores Delaware’s foster care system, and along the way we meet a young girl transitioning from foster care to “a forever family.”

Ninja Therapy
A physical therapist at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children made it to the Philadelphia city finals in ‘American Ninja Warrior,’ a show where competitors run through a gauntlet of extreme obstacles. Greg Fleming hasn’t made it all the way yet, but he’s using his ninja skills to help his clients get back to fighting shape.

State of Play: Steve Tanzer
State of Play time, here’s Steve Tanzer of Delaware Liberal.net. He’s rubbing his hands together and he’s ready for a new legislative session, and a new governor.

Care Health
In Delaware, there are more than 123,000 family caregivers. According to surveys, many of them feel left in the dark when it comes to administering care to their loved ones. The Care Act, a new law which went into effect this year in Delaware, aims to bridge those gaps and give caregivers more help.

First Experience: Art Quilts
Virginia Abrams was trained in organic and biochemistry. But in 1997, she discovered something else: quilting. Turns out, she was able to marry her training with her love of sewing and turn it into wonderful art quilts. It’s our First Experience this week.
