Finding love in the modern age: dating apps and old school matchmaking
Listen 0:48:43Guests: Saqib Shah, Gevura Davis and Anna Goldfarb
Finding love in the modern age can be a challenge. The days of randomly meeting in a bar or a class have been replaced by scores of dating apps. It doesn’t matter what sort of person you are or what preference you have for a future partner, there’s an app for just about everyone. We’ll talk with SAQIB SHAH, a reporter specializing in social media, the web, and mobile apps for consumer tech website Digital Trends. And we’ll be joined in studio by GEVURA DAVIS, an informal Philadelphia-area matchmaker whose husband is a rabbi in Elkins Park, Pa. We’ll also hear from Philadelphia-based author, writer and advice columnist ANNA GOLDFARB who catalogues dating behaviors on her blog, Shmitten Kitten.
