Carolina Chocolate Drops

The Carolina Chocolate Drops is an old-time string band from North Carolina, earning a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Album in 2010! These multi-instrumentalists highlight the central role African-Americans played in shaping our nation’s popular music from its beginnings more than a century ago, putting a modern take on traditional sound.
