Immunotherapy is revolutionizing cancer treatment. Researchers have found ways to enable the body’s own immune system to battle cancer tumors and the effects have been startling. Either by tinkering with a patient’s T-cells or through drugs that rev up the immune response, the new therapies have significantly improved outcomes in a number of different cancers.
