The Obama Administration is starting to withdraw American troops from Iraq six years and three months after the March 2003 invasion. This is the beginning of the exit of the remaining combat troops from Iraq’s cities and turning over security to Iraqi police and soldiers. All U.S. forces are expected to be out of Iraq by the end of 2011. Our guest, ANDREW BACEVICH, teaches history and foreign relations at Boston University and is a retired Army Colonel who served during Vietnam. He’s known as a conservative critic of the war in Iraq.
