Pulitzer Prize-winning author MICHAEL VITEZ‘s new book, “The Road Back: A Journey of Grace and Grit,” tells the story of MATT MILLER, a member of the University of Virginia triathlon club who suffered a near-fatal accident, breaking nearly every bone in his face and suffering a massive brain injury. Matt has since made a full recovery, attends the University of Penn School of Medicine, has completed a dozen triathlons and is set to run the Philadelphia triathlon Sunday, June 24.
