Airlines and Airports: Mergers, Rule Changes, and Upgrades

There’s been a lot of news this holiday season about the airline industry and airports. U.S. Airways and American Airlines are in the midst of a merger; United Continental Holdings is seeing profits rise as a result of its merger; the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a proposal that would allow passengers to use cell phones in-flight; and several airports are upgrading amenities for travelers. In this hour of Radio Times, we’ll talk about all of this and more with SCOTT MCCARTNEY, travel editor for the Wall Street Journal.
