A Legacy of Opportunity
A Legacy of Opportunity is a film which documents the legacy of Delaware’s only Historically Black University: Delaware State. The program focuses on challenges faced by HBCU’s and Delaware State in particular. It gives viewers a glimpse of the history of Dover and Delaware from the late 1800’s to present day. WHYY is airing this program, which was funded by Delaware Humanities, and invites viewers to see more on HBCUs in the program, “Tell Them We Are Rising.”
