Man hit by car in West Oak Lane on Thanksgiving remains hospitalized

The 26-year-old man hit by a car in West Oak Lane on Thanksgiving remained hospitalized in critical condition, police said Monday.

On Thursday night, the man — whose identity has not yet been released by authorities — was struck by a car by Ogontz Avenue and Washington Lane. He suffered broken bones in his legs and bleeding in his brain.

He remains at Albert Einstein Medical Center. The driver, who remained at the scene the night of the accident, does not face any charges, police said.
