Wilmington Flower Market in full bloom at Rockford Park

The 93rd annual Wilmington Flower Market is underway at Rockford Park.

The traditional event is held each Mother’s Day weekend to raise money for children’s charities across the state.

This year’s flower tents are bursting with colorful annuals and perennials as well as vegetable and herb plants for sale.

The festival features fun for all including rides and games for children of all ages.

The concert stage will feature more than a dozen bands including Hinder Friday at 6 p.m. and Hanson at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The flower festival is free and open to the public. Proceeds from the plant sales will go to more than 50 different children’s charities across Delaware.
