Wilmington Blue Rocks open at home

Fireworks will light up the sky on Wilmington waterfront as the Blue Rocks take the field in their home opener.

It’s the 19th season for the Kansas City Royals Single A team.  They are off to a 4 win, 2 loss start this season.  Shortstop Rey Navarro, who is batting .480 through six games, is the top prospect on the team.  The first 5,000 fans to enter the stadium Friday night will receive schedule magnets.  As with all of the Blue Rocks games there will be plenty of “other” entertainment as well.
