Victims ID’ed in death investigation
Ruled a murder/suicide, New Castle County Police have identified the couple found dead inside a Silview home Saturday night.
Pronounced dead at the scene, the bodies of 52-year-old Loretta Ludwig and 50-year-old Thomas Ingram were discovered when County Police were called to the 200 block of Lindbergh Avenue for a “check on welfare.” A family member called 911 when he stopped by the house to pick someone up and no one answered.
Detectives say Ludwig and Ingram both suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body.
