Vick cancels planned appearance on Oprah

It looks like the Eagles quarterback won’t be chatting with the Queen of Daytime TV after all — at least not as scheduled.

Vick, who had been booked for a Feb. 24 appearance on “Oprah” has canceled for unspecified personal reasons. The comeback star issued a statement, saying in part: “After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22.”

He went on to speak of his admiration for Winfrey and expressed hopes that he could participate in an interview at a later date.

The interview was going to cover his time in prison for dogfighting and his return to the NFL.
