Vice President Biden to visit University of Delaware

The 1965 University of Delaware alum will donate his Senatorial papers to the school on September 16.

Vice President Joe Biden’s papers will be donated to UD Library’s Special Collections Department, which holds political papers spanning more than two hundred years.

While at UD, the Vice President will mark Constitution Day by delivering the James R. Soles Lecture on the Constitution and Citizenship. The annual lecture series is named in honor of late Alumni Distinguished Professor Emeritus Jim Soles.

The event will take place in Mitchell Hall at 4 pm on Friday, Sept. 16.  A limited number of tickets will be available to the public beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 12.
