USO dancer, Latina councilwoman join Cumberland County Women’s Hall of Fame

Eight women were chosen from 50 as the latest to be inducted to the Cumberland County Women’s Hall of Fame. Comcast’s Lynn Doyle will host the April induction ceremony — the third of its kind.
Members Dorothy Cullen, Dona Dute, Barbara Ann Logan, Gladys Lugardo-Hemple, Alice Westbrook-Mulford, Tammy Tisa, Agnes Whitman and Peggy van Meter are profiled today by the Press of Atlantic City. They claim such accomplishments as being the first Cumberland County Emergency Services coordinator, co-foudning the WWBZ radio station and establishing the Vineland Auxiliary’s Spirit and Truth Ministries Soup Kitchen.
