Two officers charges in unrelated crimes

    The office of Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams has announced criminal charges against two Philadelphia Police officers.

    Brien Greene of the 39th District has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, possession of instrument of crime and other related offenses. The 27-year-old is accused of entering a shop on North 52nd Street on Jan. 11 and threatening to shoot an employee for an incident after the two had an altercation.

    Nicholas Adelizzi, 24, is charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing from a nutrition store on the 3300-block of Grant Avenue in the 8th District on Jan. 10.
