Trout season now open

Trophy-sized trout have been stocked in some state ponds to lure anglers to state waters.

Delaware’s trout season opened over the weekend with about 275 pounds of fish stocked, including eight trophy-sized trout, into Tidbury Pond south of Dover.  More fish were stocked in Newton Pond.  Both bodies of water will be restocked in about two weeks.
