Three charged in Sussex burglary spree

State Police say the three suspects were inovled in more than 60 burglaries starting in October 2010.

 

State Police arrested the trio at a Rehoboth Beach pawn shop where they were allegedly trying to sell stolen items.  Steven Horsey of Lewes, Kevin Harrison of Millsboro, and Kristin Gray of Harbeson are facing 463 total charges including burglary, attempted burglary, and conspiracy among other counts.  Police say they identified Horsey as a suspect after learning that he had pawned stolen items at pawn shops around Rehoboth Beach.

All three 21-year-olds are accused of 65 burglaries at homes throughout Sussex County, mainly in Angola, Longneck, and Oak Orchard.  More specifically, the three are accused of burglarizing homes in the communities of Angola Neck, Angola Crest, Longneck Village, Leisure point MHP, Pot-Nets Creekside, Mariners Cove MHP, Massey’s Landing MHP< and the Riverdale section of Oak Orchard.

Horsey and Harrison are both being held at the Sussex Correctional Institute on more than $200,000 secured bond.  Gray is at the Women’s Correctional Institute on $28,000 cash bail.
