Tasty way to start Mental Health Month

The Delaware Children’s Dept. is teaming up with Rita’s water ice to help promote Mental Health Month.
A number of Rita’s locations will offer free water ice to children and their families tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. In addition to the cool treat, families will receive materials designed to raise awareness of mental health issues and offer ways to get help. Children’s Department officials say studies have found that at least one in five children and adolescents has had or is experiencing a mental health disorder, and at least one third of those kids don’t get the help they need.
