Suspect wanted in TD Bank robbery

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a bank at Knights and Woodhaven roads yesterday afternoon, after he first attempted to rob a bank in Fishtown.

The suspect entered the TD Bank at 3930 Woodhaven Rd. around noon Tuesday. Reports say the man told the teller he had a gun, and then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At the time of the TD robbery, the suspect was wearing a white T-shirt. During the earlier robbery attempt in Fishtown, he wore a red hoodie. He was last seen fleeing toward I-95 in a white van.

The suspect is described as a white male, age 25 to 35, approximately 5″8′, with a medium build. He has brown hair, which is longer on the top and sides, and has a mustache, goatee and a five-o’clock shadow. He may have red dye on his hands from a dye pack that exploded.
