City officials celebrate the completion of improvements on Baynard Boulevard and Bancroft Parkway.  The $75,000 Baynard project focused on the northern section of the road from Concord Avenue to Broom Street.  Traffic-calming bumps were added to several intersections, while decorative brick crosswalks, new lamp post lighting and new paving was also added.

On Bancroft Parkway, $77,000 worth of improvements included work from Lancaster Avenue to the Woodlawn Library.  The area known as The Flats, received new lighting, sidewalk and curb upgrades.
