Southern Delaware lawmaker decides not to seek re-election

A state senator from Sussex County has decided to call it a career.

Senator George Bunting (D-Bethany Beach) announced Tuesday that he would step down from the Delaware General Assembly, where he has served for nearly three decades.  Bunting was elected to the Senate in 1996.  His was first elected to a House seat in 1982.  Bunting said his decision was family-related.
