Some snow possible today in southern Delaware

The National Weather Service is predicting the seasons first accumulating snowfall for southern Delaware today.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Kent and Sussex with one to three inches possible.  Forecasters say the biggest impact from today’s snowfall will be during the evening commute because snow will accumulate on the roads because they are so cold due to frigid temperatures this week.  The winter weather advisory expires at 10 PM.
