Smyrna faces arbitration with town workers

Smyrna officials face the possibility of arbitration in working out a new contract with its workforce.

The website scsuntimes.com in Smyrna reports a third round of contract negotiations still left both sides at an impass.  The next step is for both sides to agree to arbitration.

About 20 workers represented by the American Federation of State and County Municipal employees went before the town council Monday to express frustration, reports the Sun Times.
