Skull found on Delaware island identified

The Delaware Medical Examiner has determined a skull found last month near Pea Patch Island belonged to a Newark man missing since 2010.

53-year-old Timothy Finamore was last seen alive on October 15, 2010.  It’s not clear how he died.

In late June, a New Jersey man spotted a skull in the water off Pea Patch Island near Delaware City.  The man told police he found the skull about four feet from the shore.  No other bones were found in the water.
