Dover police say the shooting happened around 1:30 Sunday morning as two cars were driving southbound on N. DuPont Highway near DSU’s main entrance. They say shots were fired from one car into another, hitting the victim’s car three times on the driver’s side.

The shots caused the driver to swerve and crash into a pedestrian traffic signal at the intersection.
No one was injured and police say they don’t have any information on the shooter, except that the shots were fired from a black four door vehicle.
