Welcome to the first installment of It’s a Shore Thing, a new cartoon by Kristen and Rob Tornoe. For the rest of the summer, check back every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to follow the adventures of the Wooster family as they run the family bed and breakfast in out-of-the-way North Lower Bayheightsville. (It’s so out-of-the-way it’s not even on Google maps.) If you’re one of those people who prefer the outdoor shower from July to September, you may just identify with some of the goings-on at the Featherstone Inn.

The Creators

Kristen Tornoe is a humor writer who grew up in the Beachwood section of Toms River, N.J. An avid naturalist, Kristen has split her time between working for museums and nature preserves with freelance writing for the News Journal, Cagle Cartoons and Punchline.

Rob Tornoe is an award-winning cartoonist whose New Jersey political cartoons have eviscerated corrupt and incompetent politicians for years. His work has appeared on NewsWorks, The Philadelphia Inquirer and MSNBC.com.
