Senator Chris Coons talks about jobs for Delaware veterans as he starts a series of roundtable meetings during the August recess.
Today’s meeting at the Delaware National Guard Headquarters in New Castle will focus on soldiers just back from Iraq and Afghanistan, and what can be done to help those veterans get work. The unemployment rate for veterans back from those countries is 22%, and the rate for all veterans is more than 13%.
