Rough start to the work week for drivers in downtown Wilmington

An overturned car forces Wilmington Police to shut down a main artery into the city in the middle of the morning rush.

The car has since been moved from the scene, but there were plenty of headaches for drivers heading into Wilmington on 11th Street this morning.  At least two cars were involved in the wreck that flipped one car on to its roof just before the entrance to the Hotel DuPont near 11th and Orange Streets.

Police haven’t said how many people were injured in the crash, or how serious those injuries were.  The street was reopened just after 9 AM.
