A demolition crew discovered two torpedoes under the house they were tearing down on Tuesday in South Toms River, New Jersey.

Several agencies, including explosive ordinance disposal technicians with the Navy responded. Police say the Navy technicians determined they were replica torpedoes used in training.  The Navy took possession of the torpedoes for proper disposal.

It’s unclear how they wound up under the structure.
