Rep. DeLissio announces January town hall meeting lineup

State Rep. Pamela DeLissio of Pennsylvania’s 194th legislative district will be holding three town hall meetings in the area this month.

In a statement released on Friday, DeLissio said this month’s meetings will focus on pension funding, the Second Amendment right to bear arms and the challenges of the upcoming state budget.

“The budget discussion will continue to be a challenge,” she said in the statement. “Over the past two budget cycles, the legislature and governor have not agreed on funding priorities. I appreciate that the financial climate is still difficult, and I will be looking to participate in [a] debate that results in decisions to spend wisely for the good of our citizens and not reach decisions based on political expediency.”

DeLissio says she wants to hear from her constituents about what they believe the funding priorities should be.
