Refinery leaders meeting with Delaware City residents

Delaware City Refinery leaders will meet with residents tonight to look at the way the public is notified about emergencies at the refinery.

Late last year, a raccoon-induced power failure at the facility forced the released of some compounds that were burned off by the refinery’s flare, causing concern for residents.  State, city and county leaders will take part in tonight’s meeting which will be held at 6:30 at the Delaware City Library.
