Recovered stolen goods in Delaware to be shown to the public

New Castle County  police are displaying numerous recovered stolen items tonight, in hopes of reuniting the goods with their owners.

Police say their investigation revealed that jewelry, electronics, televisions, video game systems, lawn equipment and coin-and-currency collections were taken from communities in the Newark area.  Citizens who are able to provide police with proof of ownership via police reports and receipts may be able to reclaim their property.  The recovered items will be available for inspection tonight (Thursday) between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Paul J. Sweeney Public Safety Building, 3601 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle.  For more information call 302-395-8110.
