Recognizing pediatric care in Dover

Delaware is only the fifth state in the nation to implement a system to organize resources for emergency pediatric care.

Those efforts will be honored during an award ceremony hosted by Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn in Dover today at noon.  The effort assures the availability of emergency care for children at all times in all geographic areas of the system.  It’s designed to save lives by connecting sick or injured children to specialized pediatric care at a moment’s notice.
