Recapping the Senior Expo
NEast Philly interns and Temple University students Shaun Gallagher and Nicole Dalrymple attended last week’s Senior Expo, hosted by State Sen. Mike Stack.
As part of NEast Philly’s ongoing partnership with Philadelphia Neighborhoods, Shaun and Nicole covered the Expo, met with the more than 1,000 seniors who attended and spoke with some of the businesses who participated in the event at the National Guard Armory.
Nearly 150 businesses and agencies were on hand to provide information to seniors about financial, health and other resources.
