Price of gas in New Jersey drops further
The price of gas in New Jersey continues to drop, reaching 8 cents lower than what it was last week for the price per gallon of regular gas.
According to AAA data updated today, the price for a gallon of regular gas was listed as $3.37, 8 cents less than what it was last week, when it was listed as costing $3.45
A month ago at this time, the price of gas was $3.54.
While the price of gas is lower in New Jersey, the cost is still much higher than what it was a year ago, when AAA says a gallon of gas cost $2.49.
New Jersey is still below the national average, listed at $3.43, according to AAA.
