Pregnant woman struck, killed on Roosevelt Boulevard

Police are investigating the cause of an accident that left a pregnant woman and her unborn child dead.

Giselle Moya, 28, was crossing Roosevelt Boulevard Monday night near Lexington Avenue when she was struck by a motorcycle.

Moya was hit around 9:30 p.m. when she was reportedly en route from Lexington Park to her home on the 2200-block of Faunce Street in Rhawnhurst. Moya also had a 5-year-old son.

She was pronounced dead at 10:18 p.m. at Albert Einstein Medical Center. The motorcyclist, 25, was treated for a broken leg and head injuries at Aria Health-Torresdale.

It’s not clear whether charges will be filed.
