Police release video in Germantown day care burglary
Philadelphia Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who burglarized a day care center in Germantown on Sunday morning.
The unknown man was caught on the center’s surveillance camera at 6:25 a.m. breaking through the front door of the Kids are Fit Day Care Center at 6100 Germantown Avenue, rummaging through a room and stealing an Acer touchscreen desktop computer.
The video shows the suspect walking out of the building with the computer in his tan shoulder bag and walking south on Germantown Avenue.
Police describe the suspect as a black male in his late teens to early twenties with medium complexion, a beard with mustache and sideburns. The suspect has various tattoos on his face, neck and on the back of his hands, and was wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt and red sneakers at the time of the crime.
