The Toms River Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

The unidentified man was seen on surveillance video concealing and removing a Keurig coffee maker from Sears in the Ocean County Mall at 11:34 a.m. Thursday, police said in a release.

Two loss prevention officers attempted to detain the man, who then fled the store and entered his vehicle, subsequently going in reverse and striking and knocking one of the officers to the ground, police said.

Police did not say if the officer suffered any injuries.
