Police identify teen fatally shot at Finley Playground
Philadelphia Police have identified the victim of a fatal Friday night shooting at a playground in the city’s Stenton neighborhood as a 17-year-old male from Elkins Park, Montgomery County.
A police spokeswoman said Monday morning that Paris Talbert had been shot several times in the abdomen just after 11 p.m. Friday when officers found him on the ground near Finley Playground, in the 1000 block of E. Hortter St.
Talbert was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was declared dead less than an hour and a half later.
Police had no motive or suspect description to offer.
