Police: $100k worth of jewelry stolen from Shore house

Police say a significant jewelry cache has been stolen from a Jersey Shore home.

Police say a significant jewelry cache has been stolen from a Jersey Shore home.

Authorities were notified to the theft of $100,000 worth of jewelry inside a safe at the home in the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey Township last Friday, according to police news release.

The Quail Lane South homeowner contacted police and reported that the theft from a secure garage occurred sometime between Dec. 25 and Jan. 5.

Police responded to process the scene. Authorities have not released the type of jewelry that was stolen.
