Photos: 2012 Roxborough High School graduation

More than 100 Roxborough High School students proudly walked across the Westerman Field this morning to celebrate a milestone by collecting their high school diplomas, turning the signature tassels and tossing their caps in the summer air.

The ceremony included remarks by Principal Stephen Brandt as well as from students Frank Legrady and Nina Longasa. In an emotional moment, former Roxborough High student Shameka Zuber’s mother was presented with a diploma in honor of her late daughter. Zuber passed away last summer from declining health issues.

A good chunk of the event included award and scholarship announcements for the graduating students.  For snapshots of the day, check our slideshow above.
